Explore Brown County State Park

If you’re going to this park, you should take a mountain bike along for the ride as this is the best way to enjoy your time here. The state’s mountain biking association has dedicated itself to maintaining safe trails for all bikers without harming the natural resources of the park. You can bike here regardless of how hardcore a cyclist you are. If you simply don’t like cycling, there are plenty of other trails, whether for hiking or riding a horse down.

Visit the Connor Prairie

Spanning over 200 acres of densely wooded land, the prairie consists of five sections you should explore. Each of these has its own place in history. Take a guided tour of the different parts of the prairie before heading over to the fun animal encounter barn with your family to give your children something they can truly enjoy – petting some crazy varieties of animals.

Marengo Cave

This is one of the last and most awesome activities we love in Indiana. The US government has protected this as a national landmark. When visiting Indiana, you should go here to explore the extensive cave network that was once the scene of gem mines. You can also go on a canoe ride on the water nearby.
If you aren’t the adventurous type, Indiana surely has a lot more to offer you too. However, if you enjoy getting wet and muddy, having your knees skinned on a regular basis, and feeling so tired at the end of the day that you can’t even move, the Hoosier State was made for you!
